Hello!

I’m Amanda Greene, an artist, author, and illustrator living in Saint Louis, Missouri. I enjoy creating fantastical worlds and telling stories through comics, illustrations, and animations. I like to think of my body of work as a cabinet of curiosities; full of all sorts of trinkets and oddities, meant to fascinate, delight, and encourage further exploration. Above all, I try to create things which the eight-year-old version of myself can be proud of.

A lot of my inspiration comes from memories of childhood and the art and stories I grew up on - The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies, I Spy, Calvin & Hobbes, and many others. I also draw inspiration from my love for history and old objects, exploring nature, and travelling.

I have received a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University as well as an MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture from Washington University in Saint Louis.
